Drilling Fluids Mixing Plant and Bulk Materials Unloading Facility

The drilling fluids mixing plant and bulk materials unloading facility support the needs of one of the largest oil and gas projects in the Republic of Kazakhstan. Three drilling rigs of North Caspian Operating Company use the services of our production complex located in Bautino.

The facility consists of three main operational sections:

1. Mud Mixing Unit
The mud mixing unit is equipped with tanks with a total capacity of 4,300 m³, two mixing hoppers, two centrifuges, and several pumps. The production capacity allows the preparation of up to 1,500 m³ of oil-based drilling fluid per day, as well as its transfer to vessels at a pumping rate of up to 180 m³/hour.

2. Bulk Material Storage and Transfer Unit
This unit includes 12 silos with a total capacity of up to 1,200 m³ of bulk materials. The primary materials handled are barite and cement. The transfer system capacity is up to 100 MT/hour for barite and up to 70 MT/hour for cement.

3. Warehouse Complex
The warehouse complex, with a total area of 3,500 m², is designed for the storage of various materials used in drilling and well completion operations.
